30 Day Fitness And Accountability Challenge

The list could go on and on right?  I have had many of these same thoughts.  To be honest, it has taken me a long time to find that confidence in myself and to feel comfortable in my own skin.  It has been something that has bothered me for a long time, and I know that I am not alone.  It’s a huge problem for women and for men.  Constantly struggling with the weight loss battle and just wanting to FEEL good about themselves.  It’s no way to live.  Plus the weightloss industry has us so confused.  There are so many quick fix gimmicks out there.  The problem is that is exactly what they are…quick fixes.  They don’t produce long lasting results.

 

So what happens?  You try a diet or a diet pill or diet supplement.  It works for a while, but then you get tired of having to be so restrictive on what you can and can’t eat…so you stop and go back to your old habits.  Weight comes back on.   You can’t stay on those pills forever, so you get off of them and the weight comes back on.  See the trend here?

I don’t know about you but I want to have my cake and eat it too.  Sounds silly, but it’s true!  We shouldn’t have to live life NEVER getting to have some of those little pleasures.  I believe in a LIFESTYLE of eating clean and getting into a routine with your workouts.  Not perfection.  It’s about progress.  It’s about making SMALL MANAGEABLE changes at a time.   Changes that you can stick with and that are realistic.

What helped me get on the right track is joining my first 30 day challenge group after I had my second baby.  It wasn’t anything crazy extreme.  We picked programs that met our goals and needs.  My first was p90x.  I got this awesome meal plan that took the guess work out….and guess what…I could eat and not have to starve myself to get results.  I drank shakeology once a day as my daily dose of dense nutrition.  It’s not a quick fix weight loss drink or a “protein” drink.  I like to think of it as my healthiest meal of the day and my vitamin.  It gives me what I need to fuel my body properly and get results.  Its safe and 100% natural so I trust what I am putting inside my body.  The final piece of the puzzle was the facebook group I was a part of during the 90 days that gave me that added support and accountability.  I can’t tell you the difference it made having a soft place to fall and plug into on those days that just seemed too difficult and I didn’t want to workout or I wanted to go overboard on bad food.  My results….I finished p90x and was back to my prebaby weight WITH abs in just 3 months.  It was incredible!

3.  Be in an incredible support group on facebook- This is the secret sauce in my opinion.  It’s a soft place to fall on those days you just want to give up!

 

4.  Get one on one support from me as your coach

 

5.  Receive a new meal plan every 30 days
